At the event, we will share how AI Simulation enables organizations to test investment strategies, quantify risk, and make confident, coherent decisions across complex, interconnected asset portfolios.   [Register for the Event](https://www.iamnederland.nl/evenementen/iam-nl-jaarcongres-2026) ## **Featured Keynote Speaker** **Mastering Industrial Complexity:** **The AI shift to Overcome Uncertainty** Today’s industries are evolving in an increasingly complex and uncertain environment, where relying solely on past data is no longer enough to make decisions about a future that has never happened before. [Michel Morvan](https://www.linkedin.com/in/michelmorvan), scientist and pioneering expert on complex system modeling and AI, explores how the convergence of AI and simulation is reshaping industrial decision-making. At a time when AI is largely associated with large language models, another evolution of AI is underway — one that truly addresses the complexity and uncertainty of industrial operations and processes. This new stage of AI goes beyond past-data approaches by also incorporating knowledge of how systems work, with simulation to generate new knowledge and prescriptive guidance. Combining data with system knowledge through AI Simulation is what makes this evolution a real revolution for industry. The world’s leading companies are already adopting these capabilities, particularly in the most complex sectors such as energy and supply chains. It is now possible to simulate how the future could unfold, explore the cascading consequences of decisions under uncertainty, adapt strategies in real time, and make the right choices to continuously evolve in changing environments. This new paradigm does not simplify complexity — it embraces it, transforming it into a strategic asset for resilience and transformation. 📆 Date: September 25, 2025 🕚 Time: 9:25am - 9:40am [![Michel Morvan](https://twin.cosmotech.com/hubfs/Speaker%20photo%20Hubspot%20(10)-1.png "Michel Morvan")](https://www.linkedin.com/in/michelmorvan) ## Michel Morvan Co-founder and Chief Science Officer Cosmo Tech [Follow us on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/michelmorvan) ## Meet the Team Cosmo Tech expert will be onsite throughout the congress.
